Swiss Style Typographers



Well-known typographers who have influenced the Swiss style include Max Bill, Adrian Frutiger, Karl Gerstner, Walter Haettenschweiler, Armin Hofmann, Hans Eduard Meier, Max Miedinger, Josef Müller-Brockmann, Bruno Pfaffli, Emil Ruder, Helmut Schmid, and Anton Stankowski. This style was also still taught in typesetter training at the Zurich School of Arts and Crafts in the 1950s and 1960s. The Typografische Monatsblätter were the journalistic exchange organ of the typographic movement in Switzerland.
